Pax Tharda Update!

One of the longest-lived Hârn-related websites, Rebecca Downey's Pax Tharda, has been updated! Three new articles are now available:

All three articles are now available in PDF and HTML. Visit http://www.ketherian.org/paxtharda for details.

HÂRN LINK Addition

I'm pleased to make another addition to HÂRN LINK (thanks, Dan!):

The Melderyn Campaign <http://www.melderyn.com/>

This website chronicles what is quite possibly one of the longest Hârn campaigns ever - now in its 22nd year! The campaign is based in Melderyn, with some interesting differences from canon, such as the existence of the Deryni, clearly inspired by Katherine Kurtz's fine novels.

DALGLIESH FAMILY NEWS

Recently our family received the diagnosis that our three-year old son Cort has Autism.

I have created a web page with a summary of treatments we have been undertaking to help him.

WarFlail's Comment

I was saddened by the news about Grant and Ashley's son. I can only begin to imagine the enormous challenge on the entire family. I am encouraged by reports of Cort's positive progress, however. It is clear that he has an extremely loving and supportive Mum and Dad to help him grow up into a capable young man.

HMA Character Profile - Another Update

Oops, I overlooked a few errors in the last update but I've now fixed them all up. The latest version of the HMA Character Profile is available for download.

Key changes since the last update:

HÂRN LINK Addition

With more Hârn fansites vanishing than appearing of late, it's encouraging to see a new fansite added to HÂRN LINK. The following site is by John Taber:

John's Hero HQ <http://usandacat.com/herohq/>

Contained within are a large number of Hârnic characters (using HERO system, not surprisingly), adventures and maps. Some of these adventures are in a ready-to-run format with pre-generated characters so you can go straight into action.

It's obvious that the author has spent a great deal of time putting together the adventures. They are in a well-presented, simple format with illustrations and maps as appropriate. If you're a GM looking around for adventure ideas, it is well worth checking out John's downloads, regardless of whether you use HERO or not.

HMA Character Profile - Update

I've added a couple of enhancements to my HMA Character Profile. First, I've added a box in the Medical table to allow for weight gain and loss. A small but important detail, particularly if your PC is suffering from obesity. Second, I've allowed for individual Size Factors for each garment in the Armour Profile. Chance-found or looted armour may not necessarily be the exact same Size Factor as the wearer, after all.
