Long Time No Update

Sorry about the lack of updates recently, folks. I had been away travelling for about 3 weeks, and upon returning I found that there were all sorts of problems connecting to the internet for some reason. Anyway, I'm back now!

HQ4 Arrives!

Well I received my copy of HârnQuest 4 last week and thoroughly enjoyed reading through it. No adventure scenarios in this issue, but as a bonus there are not one but two settlements detailed (Karveth castle and Glenoth keep), with some exceptional interior maps included. The maritime theme of HQ4 makes me want to pull my old Pilot's Almanac out and get cracking on a sea voyage adventure!

BATTLELUST EVENTS

Clanslayer's Last Stand
Clanslayer and his band of raiders have commited atrocities that even hardened vikings have some trouble with. Several clans and allies have joined to put an end to clanslayers acts of violence. Walkins welcome, Rules taught.

Stalling Action, Fantasy
The once peaceful caverns of the Rayesha Mountains are now teaming with orcs. A band of Dwarf Soldiers is attempting to hold back the tide of orcs to allow the miners and traders to get to the safety of an old underground Fort to hold out in until reinforcements arrive. Walkins welcome, Rules taught.

Viking Raid, Historical
The vikings are again preying on the poor Saxons. This year however things could get interesting as 2 opposing groups of vikings are preying on the same village. It could be a very bad year for the
Saxons or a chance for revenge. Walkins welcome, Rules taught.

Necron's Isle, Fantasy
Several Groups compete to be the one to hold the Necron's Tomb. The Tomb is in the middle of an isle riddled with guardians, artifacts, traps, and unexplained phenomena. Walkins welcome, Rules taught.

Save the Lady, Fantasy
Elves have rescued an elven maiden from an orc village but must now return home through orc infested territory. Walkins welcome, Rules taught.

Brigands, Historical
A group of knights enroute to a tournament have spotted a band of brigands robbing a Merchant Caravan. Walkins welcome, Rules taught.
